Thursday 25th
4:30-6:30 PM | Welcome Drinks | Hamilton Island Marina
Join us at the marina for a cold drink and to meet the Maritimo Australia team. We’ll introduce the new crew and run through the event details. Maritimo will supply a small selection of beer and champagne — feel free to BYO too. Exact location will be shared via WhatsApp.
Friday 26th
8:00 AM | Fleet Departure | Hamilton Island Marina
We depart from Hamilton Island Marina, led by the all new Maritimo M50. We’ll pause in Pioneer Bay to collect Airlie-based boats, then cruise north to Cape Gloucester (Approx 22nm).
Midday-Late Afternoon | Anchors Down | Cape Gloucester Resort
Enjoy swimming, stunning beach, and time to unwind. Safe overnight anchorage available.
4:00–6:00 PM | Sunset Session | Cape Gloucester Beach
Sunset drinks/bar tab, nibbles and fresh prawns at Cape Gloucester Resort — supplied by Maritimo.
Saturday 27th
8:30 AM | Return Convoy | Hamilton Island
We’ll head back to Hamilton Island Marina — weather permitting, via Whitehaven Beach. Expected arrival: No later than 2:00PM.
6:30 PM – 9:30 PM | Dinner & Entertainment | Yacht Club Keel Deck
Enjoy a 3-course dinner with drinks and live entertainment, courtesy of Maritimo. Let’s see where the night takes us!
Dress code: Smart Casual
Sunday, 28th September
9:00 AM | Optional Boating Day Trip
A relaxed start to the day. For those keen, we’ll set out for a casual cruise — destination TBC based on weather and interest.
4:00 PM – 6:00 PM | Farewell Picnic | One Tree Hill
Bring a plate of nibbles to share as we wind down the weekend and toast to a great adventure.

– Please use your own tenders to travel to/from shore at Cape Gloucester
– We’ll be monitoring VHF Channel 69 for all comms throughout the event.
