Tom made his Australian Offshore Superboat debut in 2006 at the age of eighteen winning his debut race in Newcastle. Since then Tom has partnered up with Pal Virik Nilsen whilst competing for the Spirit of Norway team in the 2007 Class One World Championship, continuing their partnership to win the 2007/2008 AUS 1 title. Tom has started 12 International Class One GP’s and has won 11 GP’s and 1 Australian Title from 20 starts, in the Australian Offshore Superboat Championship. In 2009 Tom is competing both locally and internationally for the Maritimo Team.

When Tom is not with Maritimo he is studying Industrial Design at the Queensland University of Technology.
