Maritimo grows in WA with Yachts West

Maritimo has continued its retail expansion in Western Australia
with the appointment of Yachts West as a second dealer in the
region.
"The west is a vital market for us," said Maritimo's Peter
Jenkins. "Chris Norman and his team at Yachts West will add great
strength to our existing structure with Martin Box Marine."
Yachts West Dealer Principal Chris Norman (seen below right with
sales manageer Trevor Parkins) said he had already placed orders
for two new Maritimos.
"We are excited about the developments at Maritimo and I have
ordered new 470 and 440 Offshore Convertibles," he said. "I think
the 440 in particular is going to be a great boat for our
market.
"Combining three cabins, an enclosed flybridge and internal
staircase in a 44-foot boat is an awesome achievement."
Yachts West expects delivery of its new boats before the
Mandurah Boat Show in October this year.
Chris said Yachts West would focus strongly on customer
service.
"We have a full sales and service organisation at Mews Road in
Fremantle and I believe that providing quality after-sales support
is going to make a significant difference in our market," he
said.
Chris Norman is a qualified naval architect and worked with
Austal Ships near Fremantle for 13 years, nine as Sales Director,
before setting up Yachts West in 2005.
